Pensacola had everything working in the first game as they kicked it off with two runs immediately in the first inning.

They were able to put up five runs in the second inning highlighted by an RBI triple by Susanna Soldi and a home run off the bat of Jenna Trim.

The offense continued to score in every inning while Lydia Drake was in command of the pitching circle. She only allowed three hits while striking out seven and did not give up an earned run.

Jenna Trim was a force at the plate going 3-for-3 with a homerun, double and four RBI's. Tori Ratigan was 3-for-4 with two RBI's and four stolen bases. Susanna Soldi and Georgia Hood each contributed two hits in the game.

LBW 3 PSC 5

The second game proved to be tougher as the Pirates used a walk-off homerun in the seventh to win in dramatic fashion. The Saints got on the board with two runs in the first inning and the Pirates joined them in the second.

Jenna Trim drew a walk and eventually scored on a single from Cam Wolfenden to PSC their first run.

Pensacola pulled even in the third inning when Mya Geros and Tori Ratigan singled to set the table for Susanna Soldi to drive in a run with a sacrifice fly to center.

The Pirates took the lead in the fourth when Cameron Buzzell and Cameron Wolfenden singled to start things. A double steal allowed pinch runner Isabelle Hanna to score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Brianna Duggins and give PSC a 3-2 lead.

A walk and a triple allowed LBW to tie things in the top of the fifth and score remained knotted until the bottom of the seventh. Susanna Soldi reached on a hard shit ground ball to shortstop and Georgia Hood stepped to the plate and blasted a walk-off homerun to seal the win.

Cameron Wolfenden was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3.

Jenna Trim got the start on the rubber and threw five innings before Georgia Hood took over in relief. Trim scattered seven hits while striking out five and Hood allowed only two hits and struck out three while picking up her fifth win of the season.

The Pirates will host Mississippi Gulf Coast on Wednesday at 3:00 and 5:00 pm before traveling to Pearl River on Thursday.
