The Pensacola State softball team traveled to Brewton on Tuesday and picked up two easy wins over Coastal Alabama-East.

The Pensacola State softball team traveled to Brewton on Tuesday and picked up two easy wins over Coastal Alabama-East.
The Pirates won the first game 11-0 in five innings. They put runs on the board in four out of the five innings.
Georgia Hood led the way offensively going 3-for-4 with two doubles and seven RBI's. Susanna Soldi was a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with two walks and two RBI. Tori Ratigan walked three times and added three stolen bases.
Madison Sabo picked up her third win of the season, throwing four innings and only allowing one hit. Presley Williams closed out the game in the fifth.
In the second game the Pirates started slow and Coastal was ahead 3-1 when PSC put up seven runs in the fourth to take control of the game.
Skylar Buzbee was 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and two RBI. Hannah Waltman was a perfect 2-for-2 with a double and RBI while Susanna Soldi had two hits with three RBI. Georgia Hood smashed her third home run of the season to drive in three runs.
Gabriella Lindsey entered the circle in the third inning and picked up the win going five innings and only allowed three hits while striking out six.
