Pearl River 2 PSC 1 (10 innings)

Pensacola got on the board first when Georgia Hood blasted a solo home run in the fourth inning.

Pearl River tied the game in the sixth with an RBI double. They threatened in the seventh, but the Pirates got out of a bases loaded jam when Tori Ratigan got the lead out at home and Brandie Seber collected a ground ball to end the inning.

The international tiebreaker was instituted in the eighth inning and each team had a runner placed on second base to start each inning. Each team's defense held until the top of the 10th. Pearl River scored the go ahead run with a sharply hit ball that found grass.

In the bottom of the inning the Pirates failed to answer and Pearl River won.

The Pirate offense was stagnant as Georgia Hood collected the only hit in the game and they left five runners on base.
