Northwest Florida used two homeruns to outpower the Pirates in the opening game. 

Pensacola scored their only run of the game in the third when Karri Pritchard reached on an error and was eventually driven in by a single from Bre'Asia Thomas. NWF ended the game early with a walk off homerun from Sophia Jones.

Marina Goins, Bre'Asia Thomas and Brooke Vega each collected a hit for PSC.

The second game proved to be more competitive, but Pensacola could not keep up offensively. Their lone run was scored in the second when Bre'Asia Thomas and Kasey Markusic hit singles, a sacrifice bunt from Keira Trim advanced both runners to scoring position and Thomas scored on a ground ball from Samantha Ladowski.

Kylie Jarman put up a valiant effort in the circle and went the distance striking out five and only allowing three earned runs.

Pensacola will travel to Tallahassee on Saturday, March 30th for a doubleheader against TCC starting at 1:00 pm eastern time.
