Five Pirates Named All-Panhandle

Pensacola State had five players named to the 2024 All-Panhandle Team. Kylee Crowder, Gabriella Lindsey, and Madison Sabo were named to the First Team while Karri Pritchard and Gabbie York made the Second Team.

Kylee Crowder is a sophomore, outfielder from Belleville, Illinois. She led the Pirates in almost every major offensive category this season. Crowder batted .368 with a .490 on base percentage to go along with 16 home runs, 11 doubles and 43 RBI. She has committed to continue her career at Lindenwood University.

Gabriella Lindsey is a sophomore, pitcher from Ocoee, Florida. She missed most of pre-season play due to injury but came back for conference play and threw 56 innings while collecting six wins. Lindsey struck out 32 batters while sporting a 3.13 ERA. She has committed to play at Lynn University next season.

Madison Sabo is a sophomore, pitcher from Williamsburg, Virginia. Her workload this season nearly doubled from last year. She threw 101 innings and had a 10-5 overall record. Sabo's strikeouts increased from 30 last season to 81 this year and she recorded a 2.77 ERA.

Karri Pritchard is a freshman, shortstop all the way from Mount Evelyn, Australia. She continues the tradition of Australian natives being named to the All-Panhandle team. In the leadoff spot she batted .355 with a .439 on base percentage. Pritchard collected 8 doubles, 11 home runs and 30 RBI. 

Gabbie York is a freshman from Montgomery, Alabama who made the Second Team as an at-large bid for her work as the designated player. She batted .361 with seven doubles, three triples, five home runs and 22 RBI.
