Pensacola's Lady Pirates started out strong on Wednesday night at top ranked Northwest Florida. They gave the Raiders all they could handle in the first half and took a 26-20 lead into the locker room.

The Lady Pirates clinged to a 40-39 lead at the start of the fourth quarter, but then their shooting hands went cold and they only scored one bucket in the final frame.

Tai'Sheka Porchia once again led the offensive effort for Pensacola with 14 points while adding six rebounds. Khadija Chambless provided 11 points off the bench.

The Lady Pirates will host Chipola on Saturday at Hartsell Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
