There was a passionate atmosphere inside Hartsell Arena on Thursday night for the Lady Pirates game against Gulf Coast State.

The Lady Pirates fought their way into double overtime as the two teams went shot for shot until they had nothing left to give.

Unfortunately, in the waning minutes of the second overtime the Lady Commodores sunk some daggers from 3-point range and was able to maintain their narrow lead by hitting their free throws.

The final score ended up being 93-89. 

Five players from PSC did score in double digits as Tai'Sheka Porchia led the team with 27 points and completed her double-double by pulling down 13 rebounds. Douthsine Prien recorded her first double-double of the year by scoring 10 points and dishing out 11 assists while Aniyah Brown chipped in 16 points.

Pensacola will travel to Tallahassee on Saturday to face TCC at 2:00 pm.
