The Pensacola State women's basketball team took on Florida State College Jacksonville and secured the win 109-40 on Friday afternoon.
The Lady Pirates had five players in double digits with scoring. Leading the team was Kristin Williams with 16 points, Ja'Vina Jackson with 11 points while Khadija Chambless, Aryana Naylor, and Tai'Sheka Porchia all had 10 points each.
Both Kristin Williams and Aryana Naylor led the team in rebounding with six boards.
The Lady Pirates turned around and played Miami Dade on Saturday and came out on top 95-54.
It was another great performance overall from the Lady Pirates, six of the players scored in double digits. Douthshine Prien recorded her second double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds. She was followed by Sophomore guard Aniyah Brown with 16 points, Tai'Sheka Porchia and Kristin Williams each had 12 points as Aryana Naylor and Khadija Chambless both added 10 points.
The Lady Pirates are now 4-0 and will return for their home opener Friday November 12th at 5:30pm against USC Salkehatchie.
