With a close back and forth start in the conference matchup, Pensacola led by ten going into halftime.
Coming out of the break, the Lady Pirates looked like a well-oiled machine. Moving the ball, capitalizing on turnovers and simply outplaying the Eagles. PSC outscored their opponent in every quarter and only gained momentum as the game went on, tallying 48 of their points in the second half.
Kristin Williams put on quite the show, leading the team with a season high 29 points. Followed by Aniyah Brown and Caliana Fenceroy who notched ten points and five assists each.
Zahra Daniel brought down eight rebounds and sank 5-of-6 from the free throw line. Close on her heels, Danielle Luckey nabbed seven rebounds respectively.
While the offense was hard at work, defensively the Pirates ran away with 16 steals, six of which came from Deborrah Redmon.
With this win the Pirates are 3-0 in conference play and will look to extend their streak this Saturday, January 22nd on the road at Gulf Coast State College at 2 pm.
