The no. 13 ranked Lady Pirates lost a hard fought battle to the no. 3 ranked Raiders of Northwest Florida State on Saturday.
After a sloppy first half by both teams the Lady Pirates were only down 16-14 at halftime.
The offense picked up some in the second half and the Raiders were able to secure the win.
Tai'Sheka Porchia led the Pirates with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Deborrah Redmon and Kristin Williams chipped in five points each.
Pensacola State will travel to Tallahassee on Wednesday to face the Eagles at 5:30 eastern time.
