Tai'Sheka Porchia had a premier night to lead Pensacola State over a strong Gulf Coast team on Wednesday night.

The Pirates took a 25-20 lead into halftime and readied themselves for a hard fought second half.

It was 46-45 going into the final quarter and the momentum bounced between both teams, but Pensacola prevailed for their 17th win of the season.

Tai'Sheka Porchia took a beating and was still able to put up 29 points while grabbing 13 rebounds. Caliana Fenceroy was the only other Pirate in double digits scoring with 13. 

Pensacola will travel to Marianna, Florida on Wednesday for a 5:30 tip-off against Chipola.
