PSC 67 Miami Dade 45

The Lady Pirates exploded out the gate running up 21 points in the first quarter to Miami Dade's 11. Once PSC had the momentum they never gave it back.

Freshman, Sh'Naya Anderson led the team with 18 points, followed closely by Gabriela Bendeck-Giron who recorded 14 points and four steals on the day. Returner, Deborrah Redmon came away with ten points and seven steals. Douthshine Prien ruled the boards with nine rebounds.

The Lady Pirates fell short in the hard-fought matchup against Florida Southwestern, giving them their first loss on the season.

Sh'Naya Anderson had a season high 24 points in the battle. Newcomer, Nataya Lockett recorded 12 points on the day, followed closely by Deborrah Redmon with ten points. Ja'Miyah Bryant was a force defensively with 12 rebounds and five steals in the matchup.

The Lady Pirates will be back in action, Thursday, November 17th against Monroe College at 5:00 pm.
