Ja'miyah Bryant and Head Coach Belford Receive Awards

Ja'miyah Bryant was named the FCSAA Region 8 Player of the Week. The versatile sophomore is currently averaging 17.7 points and 16.3 rebounds per game. 

Bryant has recorded a double-double in each of the Lady Pirates last eight games. There have only been four games all season that she did not grab double digit rebounds. 

Head Coach Penny Belford was named the Coach of the Week by WHoopDirt.com. The Lady Pirates broke into the NJCAA national poll this week at the no. 17 spot and currently sport an 11-2 record.
