PSC 61 North Arkansas 55

Pensacola State overcame a slow second quarter to defeat the Pioneers on Friday.

The Lady Pirates saw themselves trailing 43-39 at the start of the final quarter, but they poured on the offense and scored a game high 22 points in the frame to secure the win.

Gabriela Bendeck-Giron provided a spark off the bench scoring a game high 19 points. Ja'miyah Bryant continued her double-double streak scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Nataya Lockett chipped in 13 points.

PSC 79 Southern Union 28

In the weekend finale the Lady Pirates only gave up a paltry 28 points on the way to their 13th win of the season.

Pensacola dominated from the tip and kept Southern Union to single digit scoring in three quarters.

Nataya Lockett scored a game high 16 points while Sh'Naya Anderson added 15. They were joined in double digit scoring by Ja'Vina Jackson (14 points) and Deborrah Redmon (12 points). 

PSC will travel to Bishop State on Wednesday, December 14th for a 5:30 tip off.
