Despite a strong start leading to a 17-14 Bulldog lead after the first period, the Pirates were able to outpace the Mississippi squad the remainder of the game to secure the win.
Nautica Bouie had a solid night leading the Pirates with 15 points to go along with five rebounds. Jaida McDonald added 14 points while Talia Kemp contributed 10 points and five assists.
Katelyn Brinkley led the Bulldogs with a game-high 18 points.
