Lady Pirates Host Thanksgiving Classic
The Pirates fell 62-53 to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs (MGCC) in the PSC Thanksgiving Classic. Pensacola State (8-3), who celebrated a 67-53 victory over MGCC (5-3) on November 18, 2024, were unable to overcome having a limited roster in their latest matchup with the Bulldogs.

The Pirates fell 62-53 to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs (MGCC) in the PSC Thanksgiving Classic. Pensacola State (8-3), who celebrated a 67-53 victory over MGCC (5-3) on November 18, 2024, were unable to overcome having a limited roster in their latest matchup with the Bulldogs. The Pirates took an early 2-0 advantage before the visiting Bulldogs claimed the lead and sustained it throughout the game on their way to victory.
Katiya Casey recorded a season-high 20 points for the Pirates, while Nautica Bouie chipped in 11. MGCC got a game-high 22 points from Jacylin Houston.
Pensacola State 95 Bishop State 59
On the second day of the PSC Thanksgiving Classic, Pensacola State dominated the visiting Wildcats from Bishop State, securing a commanding 95-59 victory.
Bishop State kept the game close in the first half, trailing 40-37 at halftime. However, the Pirates ramped up their defensive intensity in the second half, allowing only 22 points while scoring 55 themselves.
Five Pirates scored in double figures, led by Jaida McDonald with 22 points. Audreonia Benson added 19, Nautica Bouie 17, Katiya Casey 16 along with six assists, and Akeelah Bryan contributed 10. Talia Kemp recorded a game-high 12 assists for Pensacola State.

The Pirates will face Enterprise State on December 6, 2024 at 3:00pm and then take on Central Georgia Tech at noon on December 7, 2024.
