Pensacola State came up short at Chipola College falling 61-44 to the No. 2 Indians.

After a low scoring first half, the Pirates trailed just 29-25 at the break. Chipola (22-1, 4-1) was able to outscore Pensacola State (16-8, 1-5) 32-19 in the second half on their way to securing their fourth Panhandle Conference win.

Jaida McDonald led the Pirates scoring attack with 13 while Katiya Casey and Tamya Hutchinson both added 11 each.

Kanija Daniel, the current Region 8 leading scorer at 21.2 points, led all scorers in the contest with a game-high 20. Arielle Facyson added 11 for the Indians.
