Lady Pirates Place Four Players on All-Panhandle Team

Pensacola State College's Lady Pirates have made a significant mark this season, placing four players on the All-Conference team. Jaida McDonald and Katiya Casey earned spots on the First Team, while Audreonia Benson and Talia Kemp were named to the Second Team.
Jaida McDonald led the Pirates in both scoring and rebounding, averaging an impressive 14.8 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. This recognition marks her second All-Conference honor, having been named to the Second Team as a freshman.
Katiya Casey celebrated her first All-Conference selection this season. She boosted her scoring to 10.3 points per game and contributed 2.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, showcasing her all-around skills on the court.
Audreonia Benson made the All-Conference team for the second time. As a freshman, she was a First Team selection and Co-Freshman of the Year. This season, she maintained her high performance, averaging 11.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
Talia Kemp, a freshman, earned a Second Team nod by averaging 10 points and 5.2 assists per game. Her playmaking abilities have been a key asset for the Lady Pirates.
The Lady Pirates are set to compete in the first round of the FCSAA State Tournament on Wednesday. As the number six seed, they will face the number three seed, Florida Southwestern, at 3:00 pm at Raider Arena in Niceville, FL.
