Title: Assistant Coach

Paul moved to Pensacola in 2008, however, working for Airbus meant spending a good portion of time the UK and Germany. He started volunteering in Pensacola Youth Soccer in 2017 (after retiring from Airbus).

Paul coached at Perdido Bay Futbol Club Select program, 08 boys then 05/06 Girls 2017-2019. In 2018, he was named the Girls Head Soccer Coach at Pensacola High School and remained there until 2021. They were District Champions in 2019-2020 and he was named Regional Girls Coach of the Year in 2020.

Playing Experience

Started playing in 1961 (6 years old) in Salt Lake City – great soccer environment due to the huge cultural diversity there. I played for Hollandia FC – 1961 – 1972 (Dutch was the primary language).

Played in High School all years – captain in my senior year

Played 4 years at M.I.T (D3 school) 1972 - 1975. – starting varsity all four years – played center midfield – captain Senior year.

All Greater Boston League All Star 1974 

Played Men’s Senior Division in Salt Lake City for Pan-World Soccer Club 1972 – 1982. Team was named Utah team of the decade in 1985. 

Coaching Experience

Started Coaching AYSO in Salt Lake City 1978-1981

Coached in Connecticut Junior Soccer Association 1991 – 1998 (U6 to U15) Including Premier teams at U12 and U14 (Striker Soccer Club – Don Murphy President). We took two teams each year to play in the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden (1996, 1998), and to the Ian Rush Tournament in Aberystwyth, Wales (1997).
