Mark Yepishin begins his first season as Head Soccer Coach of Pensacola State College after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at University of West Florida women’s soccer program from 2019-2022.

Yepishin helped the UWF Argos to two NCAA National Tournament appearances. From 2013-2023, he served as head coach of the girls soccer program at Pensacola Catholic High School and led the Lady Crusaders to postseason play eight of his 10 years at the helm. 

Yepishin started in the Pensacola soccer scene as a varsity soccer player at Booker T. Washington High School. He went on to play varsity soccer at Mississippi College and coached at Jackson Futbol Club until graduating in 2013. 

In 2017, Yepishin was one of 32 volunteers chosen from 600,000 applicants to help as a Team Services Volunteer at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup Russia and the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. There he spent time working with national teams and aiding as a Russian translator for the players and coaches. He also worked as a Team Liaison Officer for the National Lithuanian team in their friendly match against Iran. 

He and his wife, Anastasiia, live in Pensacola with their two boys, Luka and Vinny, and a husky named Mufasa.
