Volleyball Picks Up Two Wins

The Pirate volleyball team defeated Gulf Coast State on Wednesday, October 16th and Pensacola Christian College on Thursday, October 17th.

It was a thrilling five set victory over Gulf Coast at home. The hitters were led by Alex Pierre with 16 kills and only two errors while Madison Fisher collected 16 kills and 13 digs.

Beaudine Verweij was a game changer at the net with her blocking presence while also tallying 12 kills.

"I felt confident in the fifth set that things were going our way because of the confidence the team displaying during that entire set," said Head Coach Jennie Belarmino. 

On Thursday PSC took down Pensacola Christian 3-0. Brook-Lynn Sandford led hitters with 16 kills while Reilly Landreneau recorded 16 digs on defense.

The Pirates will host a Pink Out game on October 22 at 6:00 against Coastal Alabama-South. This will be PSC's final game of the season.
