Volleyball Closes Out Season With A Win

The Pensacola State volleyball team closed out it's season with a 3-0 win over Coastal Alabama-South last night.

Reilly Landreneau anchored the defense with 13 digs while Nicole Woods contributed nine in the match. Natalie Woods helped pace the offense with 12 kills and Brook-Lynn Sandford added 11 on the night.

"Our defensive effort this evening was the best I have seen all season," said Head Coach Jennie Belarmino, "We were prepared for their offense and had some exciting digs. Our blocking was great and I am proud of the team for finishing the season on a high note."

The team celebrated sophomore night for Natalie Woods, Nicole Woods, Lauren Raines, Beaudine Verweij and Emalee Payne. Coach Belarmino praised the sophomores, "They played so well for their last match at PSC. I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and hard work they have put into this program for the past two years."
