Rodriguez Named Player of the Week

Anyaliz Rodriguez was named the Region 8 Division II player of the week.

The freshman, outside hitter helped lead the Pirates to three victories last week. She recorded a total 62 kills in four matches, including a season high 20 in the win over State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. In three games over the weekend Rodriguez tallied a double-double in every match and averaged 4.5 kills per set.

The Pensacola State team is currently ranked no. 3 in the Region 8 poll.
