Rodriguez & Vega Selected Players of the Week

Sophomore, Anyaliz Rodriguez was named the Region 8 Division II Player of the Week. The outside hitter recorded 51 kills, 40 digs and eight blocks in a span of three games last week. In a 3-0 win over Santa Fe College, she had a .333 hitting percentage.

Kiara Vega, a sophomore, was recognized as the Region 8 Division II Setter of the Week. Over three games she tallied 121 assists and contributed 27 digs. 

The 5-1 Pirates are currently ranked no. 2 in the Region 8 Division II poll.
