On Friday, the Border Clash hosted by Valdosta State offered the most competitively ranked NCAA and NJCAA teams in Florida and Georgia. A lightning and rain delay did provide some post rain temperature relief. An evening race with a slight breeze and a break in humidity gave great conditions for our first race. Emmalei Miller finished first for PSC with a time of 26:37.
The Pirates closed out the weekend on Sunday at the Tallahassee Community College Open. This competition provided a course preview of the 2022 NJCAA National Championship Course at Apalachee Regional Park. The terrain provided good experience for the team as they prepare to shave time this season.
Emmalei Miller was the top finisher again for Pensacola with a time of 26:17.
This Friday, September 9th, the University of South Alabama will host the Azalea City Classic.
