Pensacola Half Marathon Cross Country Race Weekend

This Sunday Pirate half marathon runners will take to the road for their first 13.1 mile race of the season.

Sophomores, Emmalei Miller and Kaydee Cook, will be racing the Pensacola Half Marathon. Both athletes raced in the NJCAA national championship half-marathon their freshman year as Pensacola State College's first half marathon team.

The Pirates train extensively all year to prepare themselves to race these long distances during their collegiate cross country season. If you would like to come out and support our long distance runners, their route winds through the city, beginning and ending at Community Maritime Park.
