Pirates Run in Argonaut Invitational
The Argonaut Invitational Cross-Country Meet showcased impressive athletic performances and a vibrant atmosphere celebrating the spirit of competition. Ten teams participated Friday on the UWF Rec Plex course, which featured the most challenging terrain of the season.
Landry Wagoner led the pack and finished with an impressive time of 23:05. Her determination and speed were on full display as she navigated the course confidently. Christine Clark followed closely, crossing the finish line at 24:41. Her strong performance demonstrated her dedication and skill, making her a standout competitor in this event. Jillian Thorton and Sydney Smiga also showed commendable effort, finishing with times of 27:27 and 27:44, respectively. Both runners showcased resilience and sportsmanship. Their commitment to the race was intense, and seeing them push through the course's challenges was inspiring.
