The Pirates had a great showing on Saturday as seven different Pirates scored in a nonconference match against the Andrew College Tigers.
Holland Tauscher got on the score sheet in the first minute of the game. Makayla Nix followed up with a goal at the five-minute mark. Jenna Maiorino added the third and sixth goal, while Jennifer Fischer scored the fourth on the 19th minute and the fifth on the 20th minute.
In the second half Brianna Aaron and Emily Willis scored for the Pirates. Sidney Roest did not have to step into the game much but had a total of five saves on the night. Coach Yepishin comments after the game, "It's great to see the fire in the team to want to score. I also loved the unselfishness from the teammates to pass the ball around."
The Pirates have one more game on the road before the South Atlantic District Tournament on the October 28th. They are still awaiting their opponent and will play at the home field of the winner of Region 10.
