2020-21 Season (Covid): appeared in five games for the University of South Alabama
2021-22 Season: after transferring from South Alabama (Covid Season), in his first season in the Panhandle Conference for the Pirates, Garrett earned 1st Team All-Conference honors. Garrett started 23 games and averaged 13.0ppg, 6.8rpg, and 1.7bpg, while shooting 49.6% from the field and 32.6% from 3pt. He also takes pride in the classroom and currently holds a 3.4gpa.
High School: played at Oxford High School under Coach Joel Van Meter...as a senior averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks per game...selected to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game following his prep career at Oxford High, scoring 17 points to help lead Alabama to a 118-97 victory in the contest...named 2nd Team All-State by AL.com as a senior...earned 2nd Team All-State and 1st Team All-County honors as a senior after helping the Yellow Jackets finish 21-9 and a berth in the regional semifinals of the state 6A tournament...was also a 2nd Team All-State selection as a junior after averaging 19 points, 9.5 rebounds and five assists per game...helped lead OHS to the round of 16 in the state tournament on the way to a 23-5 overall record.

After a back and forth affair all night the Pensacola State Pirates were taken down at the buzzer by Northwest Florida.

The Pirate basketball team fell at home 59-50 to Chipola on Wednesday night.
