The Pensacola State College volleyball season came to a close on Friday afternoon as the Pirates fell to No. 2-seeded Parkland College 1-3 in a quarterfinal match.

Pensacola State volleyball had three players named to the Sun-Lakes All-Conference team.

Pensacola State hosted the 2024 FCSAA/NJCAA DII South Atlantic District Championship tournament last weekend. Hartsell Arena was vibrant with competition on Friday and Saturday as the top six teams in the Sun-Lakes Conference went head to head for the championship title.

Pensacola State (18-8, 11-3 SLC) hosted their final three conference matches over the weekend and secured the no. 2 spot in the 2024 Sun-Lakes Conference Tournament.

Pensacola State hosted the program's first Pensacola Premier Tournament over the weekend. Five highly ranked teams in NJCAA Division II Volleyball made their way to Hartsell Arena to compete against each other. Appearing at the tournament was PSC's neighbor Gulf Coast (no. 7), Enterprise State (no. 17), Heartland (no. 6), Johnson County (no. 3) and powerhouse Cowley County (no. 1). The Pirates finished the tournament 1-3 after facing Heartland, Enterprise State, Johnson County and Cowley County.
